Yes, damp cellars can be waterproofed with Dry-it-Out. |

Why is Dry-it-Out better than other water repellents? |
|
|
Dry-it-Out not only waterproofs but also removes the moisture from the surface. Other products do not do this and they can only be applied to dry surfaces. |

No, Dry-it-Out is only available direct from the manufacturers. |

How long will Dry-it-Out last? |
|
|
At least 25 years. |

After 2 to 3 hours depending upon the temperature |

Will Dry-it-Out trap water in the walls? |
|

No, Dry-it-Out is microporous so the walls can "breathe" out the water vapour. |

Why spray Dry-it-Out - can I brush it on? |
|
|
Yes but you will use more. |

What precautions must I take when using Dry-it-Out? |
|
|
Do not expose to naked flames or smoke whilst using. If using indoors, good ventilation is essential. It is recommended that a facemask and goggles are used. Protective gloves are advisable. Keep Dry-it-Out away from children and pets. Cured material is not hazardous. |

Will it change the colour of my stonework or bricks? |
|
|
Depending upon the original colour and porosity of the surfaces, some darkening will be observed. Colour of stonework will be enhanced. |

Is it best to treat to the outside or the inside walls? |
|
|
Using Dry-it-Out indoors is often completely successful however if treating small areas, the damp may simply move along the wall and appear elsewhere. For complete, long-lasting protection it is best to treat the outside. Normally only the South and West facing walls will need treatment as this is the direction of most wind-driven rain. |

What are the best weather conditions to apply Dry-it-Out? |
|
|
Warm, dry weather is obviously best however you should aim to apply when the temperature is above 5oC and rain is not expected. |
