Rubber-Cote is a two-part polysulfide coating that cures to form a firm yet flexible rubber. It is waterproof and resistant to many solvents, oils and chemicals. Polysulfide coatings are used commercially by the Aerospace Industry to coat and seal fuel tanks and fuselage joints. They are also used extensively by the Water Industry to line reservoirs and similar structures as well as industrial storage tanks.

Rubber-Cote will bond to most substrates (except certain plastics) with the use of the bonding primer supplied. Surfaces need to be clean and free from grease or loose particles and corrosion. After mixing, Rubber-Cote is applied by spatula or brush to the prepared area where it will cure to a firm, strongly-bonded layer in 2-4 hours depending upon temperature.

Rubber-Cote is supplied in 4 litre pre-measured packs sufficient to coat:-

8 square metres at 0.5 mm thick or

4 square metres at 1 mm thick (2 coats)

Bonding primer is supplied in 500 ml bottles
